The Clinical Pharmacy Coordinator is responsible for coordinating Clinical Pharmacist team activities, training, education and assessment and attainment of productivity metrics. This position supports leadership activities of the department, coordinates quality/process improvement initiatives and represents the pharmacy department on multidisciplinary committees. The Clinical Pharmacy Coordinator, under the direction of the clinical manager and director, will ensure the competency, compliance and professional development of staff. All activities will be done in accordance with established policies, procedures, and regulations with the health and welfare of the patient paramount.
Graduate from an ACPE accredited school of pharmacy is required
Minimum of 2 years of Clinical Pharmacist experience in a pediatric hospital setting required
Texas Pharmacist License or eligible
BPS Board Certification is required within 1 year of certification eligibility
Pharmacist and Pharmacy Preceptor licensure must be obtained within 90 days of employment
CPR - BLS certification is required within 30 days of employment
CPR - PALS (critical care areas only) within 30 days of employment
