Ourprimary research goal is to determine host-pathogen interactions in hosts withallergic asthma using both mouse model systems and in vitro techniques. The objective of the postdoctoral fellow is todetermine the role of eosinophils in allergic asthma during influenza virusinfections. The laboratory is situated in the Children's Foundation ResearchInstitute of Le Bonheur Children's Hospital and offers the advantage of workingclosely with clinical faculty.
