The Department of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation is currently recruiting for a Research Project Coordinator.
The successful applicant will be primarily responsible for coordinating all research and QI projects in the Division of Pediatric Rehabilitation Medicine. The incumbent will be responsible for managing IRB submissions/modifications, tracking project progress, maintaining secure databases, subject recruitment and consent, facilitating research meetings, maintaining meeting notes, and coordinating research timelines.
The incumbent will perform literature reviews and manage reference software, and support manuscript and grant submissions. Excellent organizational skills and the ability to effectively communicate with collaborators and co-workers as well as patients and families is essential. Prior experience working with children in a rehab/research setting is preferred.
The candidate should be familiar with basic databases such as redcap and qualtrics, data entry software, including formatting spreadsheets and creating tables and figures in Excel and Word, and creating slide presentations in Powerpoint. Familiarity with reference manager software such as Endnote also preferred.
An RN or other health professional degree with 4-5 years prior research experience may be substituted for educational requirement. Prior experience with pediatric patients and their families preferred.
