This position is in the Department of Pediatrics Newborn Medicine. The position is located at the Northwest Tower. This position is for the Medical School Campus.
Position coordinates office functions, programs and schedules, provides administrative services, and performs specialized/technical duties with minimum supervision. Will serve as the primary administrative support for the Pediatric Advance Care Team (PACT) and also support other Newborn Division faculty personnel as needed.
PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Coordinates staff services, interoffice activities, schedules, programs, and related administrative needs.
Administers/prepares reports, minutes, correspondence, lectures and administrative materials required for the direction of the department.
Maintains established departmental policies, procedures and objectives including regulatory records for license, reports, and notifications as necessary.
Coordinates meetings, prepare meeting materials and perform other administrative functions for the PACT Director.
Assists with visitors and customers questions and needs.
Assists with payroll processing and other clerical functions when needed.
Maintain database for capturing required data and submit information for new users.
Assist PACT with scheduling of patient appointments as well as necessary follow-ups with other providers involved.
Manage the clinical service calendar for the PACT.
Assist with supporting faculty members of the Newborn division with administrative task as needed.
Equivalent of Associate’s degree with 2-4 years of experience in administrative support.
Experience in university/medical environment preferred.
Working knowledge of general office equipment including word processing, FIS, FOCUS, and similar programs and supervisory skills.
The hiring range for this position is $18.80 - $23.99 per hour.
