For 34 years, Ronald McDonald House Charities of Oregon & SW Washington (RMHC) has served children who are seriously ill or injured and their families. RMHC’s $8 million budget enables it to operate four houses where pediatric patients and families stay for free, provide in-hospital services to children and families, and support specialized programs and care. Under the energetic leadership of its CEO and committed staff, RMHC will continue building resources to meet growing statewide needs.
RMHC seeks an inspiring Chief Development Officer (CDO) who will shape and guide dynamic development and communications programs that support the mission. Reporting to the CEO, the CDO serves on the executive leadership team and partners closely across the organization, ensuring the growth of resources, partnerships, and relationships. A successful candidate will direct and develop the people, plans, structure and programs, through exercisingvision and strategy, collaboration, mentoring, and implementation skills that propel an evolving team. Experience that includes change management, problem-solving, thoughtful use of systems and tools, and the ability to maintain trusted relationships with varied stakeholders are necessary.
