Summary: The Revenue CycleApplications Director provides leadership to the ongoing development andimplementation of the enterprise-wide, integrated electronic health recordplatform that supports Patient Access, HIM, Scheduling and Revenue Cycle acrossall the communities that Cook Children's Health Care System (CCHCS)serves. Leads the implementation of Epic Revenue Cycle products(Cadence, Prelude, ADT, Resolute HB, Resolute PB, etc.). Overseesthe replacement of all patient access and patient accounting applications(including associated third party applications). Accountable for thesuccess of the revenue cycle systems implementation and the operations andsunset of legacy systems; manage all vendors. Partners with PatientAccounting, Patient Access, Clinical and Business Units to ensure thatapplication development and deployment is performed in an efficient, costeffective and technically sound manner while meeting the needs and goals of theorganization. Builds and directs the Revenue Cycle Systems team andprovides guidance to the project team through the design, build, implementationand maintenance phases of the revenue cycle replacement program; ensure acommon vision, plan and goal are maintained across all areas of the project.
Bachelor's degree in healthcare or business required. Master's degree preferred.
5+ years' experience in a management or director level role;ability to demonstrate strong leadership within matrix teams.
Detailed knowledge of Patient Accounting, HIM or PatientAccess.
Expert knowledge of healthcare.
Information Technology experience preferred.
Prior experience implementing Epic Systems Revenue CycleSolutions preferred.
Proven track record of successfully delivering projectson-time and on-budget.
PMP/ Project Management Certification preferred.
