The Quality Assurance Specialist II will be responsible for:
Leading testing of software applications to ensure they meet reliability and performance standards. This includes writing test plans and scenarios.
Planning test schedules or strategies in accordance with project scope or delivery dates.
Diagnosing, reporting, and tracking quality issues with program function, output, online screen, or content.
Using a structured written format to provide feedback and recommendations to developers on software usability and functionality.
Implementing QA tools/methods (automation preferred, but not required) to test applications for defects; customizes and updates tools, as necessary to ensure currency.
To qualify, you must have:
Knowledge of theories, principles, and concepts typically acquired through completion of a Bachelor's degree and one year of post-degree course work and/or five to seven years' experience.
Communication skills in order persuade and negotiate with others on important matters.
Ability to set priorities and multi-task in a fast paced environment.
Excellent analytical abilities to grasp the key points from complicated details.
Familiarity with the tools, concepts and methodologies of quality management.
Ability to use/develop automated QA solutions is preferred, but not required. Work requires attention to detail and excellent report writing skills.
Familiarity with Ranorex, Soap UI and Selenium a plus.
