This Practice Administrator II - Department of Surgery will be responsible for:
Creating the optimal employee and patient experience.
Overseeing the operations for 22+ Pediatric General Surgeons, providing oversight for multiple locations, overseeing the OR scheduling process, overseeing the education and training program in the Department and providing guidance to the Ambulatory Clinic Supervisor.
Partnering with the Executive Administrative Director, Physician leadership, Nursing leadership and others to set the strategy for the Department.
Ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements.
To qualify, you must have:
A Bachelor's Degree in Business, Healthcare Administration or related field preferred.
Minimum of 5 years experience including at least two years of supervisory or management experience. Additional years of experience may substitute for a degree.
The knowledge and skills necessary to solve complex problems in the areas of clinical/research operations, business planning, financial management, marketing, personnel and information systems management.
The ability to effectively manage the employees within assigned unit/department and to influence and negotiate with peer level managers on issues and programs that impact assigned unit/department. Work requires effectively dealing with conflicting views or issues and mediating fair and workable solutions.
