This Nurse Practitioner will be responsible for:
Providing comprehensive health care services to Hematology Clinic patients including patients with general Hematological issues and emphasis on Bone Marrow Failure, Sickle Cell Disease, and ITP.
Serving in an integral role in the long-term care of hematology patients by providing comprehensive health care services to patients and by serving as an educational resource to patients/families within the Hematology Division here at BCH.
As a member of the largest pediatric hematology division in the New England region, may also take on a leadership role by serving as an educator to other healthcare providers within the community. This is an excellent opportunity to work alongside renowned Hematologists in one of the nation's premiere children's hospitals.
To qualify, you must have:
Master's in Nursing and Licensed NP. Or Master's in Physician Assistant and Licensed PA.
3-5 years of pediatric Hematology/Oncology nursing experience is preferred, but exceptional recent NP graduates will be considered with 3-5 years of acute care experience or 3-5 years of pediatric acute care Physician Assistant experience.
Ability to deliver advanced, compassionate, patient-centered care to a diverse population, be adept at cultivating collaborative relationships (both internally and externally), and adaptable to adjust to changing technologies and an evolving model of patient care here within the program.
Comfort in working independently and must possess excellent time management skills, as cross coverage with other mid-level providers in Hematology, will be necessary.
