The Innovation Coordinator will assist the Chief System Effectiveness Officer (CSEO) for Cook Children's Health Care System in developing and managing the CCHCS Innovation Program and the Process Improvement group, developing and scheduling educational offerings, Sharepoint intake and review, committee scheduling and correspondence with a focus on tracking management of project charters and deliverables, communicating clearly (oral & written) with department constituents and committee members including all internal and external resources dedicated to each Innovation project and the Director of PI, PI Specialists, Physicians, attorneys, IT specialists to facilitate good, timely flow of information.
Minimum three years project coordination experience.
High School diploma required associates degree preferred. Able to read and understand scientific, legal and technical manuscripts.
Proficient with Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook and Acrobat, Blue Beam or similar pdf manipulation tools, including annotation, measurement, etc. Strong aptitude for learning and working with new electronic tools.
Experienced and comfortable working in mobile environments using laptops, tablets, wireless tools and presentation tools.
Good typing skills 50-60 wpm.
Excellent communication skills, verbal and written.
Fearless, intellectual curiosity and openness and ability to think outside the box The desire to explore and break new ground as a means of enhancing/re-inventing pediatric healthcare delivery.
Must have good attention to detail, be highly organized and able to multi-task in fast-paced environment.
