The Registered Nurse is responsible for providing competent nursing care. The Rn is accountable for managing coordination of the patient's plan of care through assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of nursing interventions that lead to established outcomes. This position practices under the direction of the designated nurse executive, within the scope of the Nursing Practice Act, and in accordance with Valley Children's Hospital policies.
Active California RN License
Graduation from an accredited RN program
Bachelor's degree preferred (BSN desirable)
Minimum 3 years full time or equivalent nursing experience
Minimum 1 year experience with endoscopy, pediatric experience highly preferred
Basic Life Support (BLS) is required within 30 days of hire or transfer into the position
Employer will assist with relocation costs.
