Christiana Care Health System seeks a Flight Nurse to work as a member of our Christiana Care LifeNet team which provides emergency air transport to critically ill or injured, pediatric and neonatal patients. The Flight Nurse works under the supervision of the Critical Care Transport Manager.

Our flight team is nationally recognized and accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Medical Transport Services (CAMTS).

Registered in Nurse in the State of Delaware, eligible for Pennsylvania and New Jersey licensure.
BSN preferred. Active participation in a BSN program will be considered.
Requires one of the following certifications: CFRN, CCRN or CEN. Certification to be obtained within 2 years of hire.
Must have TNCC, ACLS, BLS and PALS. (NRP and PHRN to be offered during the program.)
Requires at least three years experience as a RN, to include three years experience in a critical care area preferred (ICU,CCU, ED, PICU, NICU and flight) Prehospital experience and education preferred.
This is a 72 hour Full Time Flex position with a combination of 12-hour and 24-hour shifts.
The selected candidate could cover both Newark and Georgetown, Delaware locations.
