Founded in 2010 in Shanghai, China. LIH Olivia’s Place is named after Olivia Chow, who was diagnosed with down syndrome when she was half-year old.
LIH Olivia's Place offers consulting services for occupational therapy, physical therapy, speech language therapy, educational and clinical psychology services, ABA and behavioral therapy, and learning support services for children from birth to adolescence. We are aiming to provide high-quality, evidence-based, inter-disciplinary and affordable pediatric therapy for children with special needs and for typically developing children who have developmental delays.
You can choose to work:
Beijing, China(2 vacancies, prefer mandarin and English speaking)
OT will complete initial assessments of clients, develop each client's treatment plan, review collected data, and appropriately update the treatment plan to meet the client's and family's needs. They are also responsible for guiding and supervising the junior OT therapist, and providing training for family members and school teacher. The OT will collaborate with other departments (ST, BCBA, PT, Psych, Development behavioral paediatric doctors etc) to ensure full integration with other services.
Preferred Background & Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree (or equivalent program) in speech and language therapy from accredited university or college;
2 or more years of post-qualification work experience;
A minimum of 1 years working in a pediatric setting;
License and/or certificate showing ability to work as a occupational therapist;
Fluent in English, Chinese-speaking would be a plus.
