Position Summary: We have an exciting opportunity to join our team as an Associate Revenue Cycle Analyst.
In this role, the successful candidate will be responsible for reviewing and reconciling charges related to Perlmutter Cancer Center services, including infusion treatments, physician office procedures, and radiation treatments to assure accuracy of said charges related to clinical documentation and maximize revenue while maintaining compliance with Hospital, government and third-party payor guidelines for billing. Additionally, the Charge Reconciliation Analyst is also responsible for performing other functions, such as collaborating with clinical and operational personnel, as well as Revenue Cycle Operations, as related to accurate charge capture and reconciliation.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Work with the team in maintaining a daily billing reconciliation report of productivity of Infusion treatments and charges. Ensures all necessary charges are reconciled on a daily basis.
Continuous reviews of charge capture process to ensure compliance with Medicare guidelines.
Participates with Revenue Cycle Operations and Compliance on updates for Infusion Charge Capture and Office Practice.
Daily review of Radiation Oncology charges and ensure that charges are properly entered and that the documentation supports the charge.
Daily review of Evaluation & Management charges for office practice visits as well as any other procedures performed in the office practice. Ensures that all office practice charges are properly entered and the documentation supports the charge.
Make all charge corrections on a timely basis. Collaborate with Revenue Cycle Operations to resolve any billing discrepancies.
Reviews Medication Administration Record documented by nurses to ensure they support the charges posted. Reviews completed in timely basis and deficiencies reported to nurse management.
Review Infusion and drug administration charges to make sure they were entered correctly and timely.
Minimum Qualifications: To qualify you must have a Bachelors degree with 0-1 year of experience. Proficient in the use of productivity-based computer software (MS Office). Familiar with medical terminology and hospital medical billing guidelines.
Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree in a related field. Experience using Epic computer software.
Qualified candidates must be able to effectively communicate with all levels of the organization.
