Integrates nursing science, computer science, principles of patient safety, and health informatics science to enhance Clinical Information Systems in the organization, especially with the implementation, ongoing support, and continuous improvement efforts in quality and safety with regards to the use of the Electronic Medical Record (EMR). Assists Medical Practice Team in organizing and leading clinical content development and clinical content processes, structures, and maintenance within clinical systems, which will facilitate and promote providers and clinical staff to safely and effectively use and manage patient health information and clinical data. Works collaboratively with Information Systems and other clinical departments in problem solving and assists with resolution. Assists in coordinating aspects of planning, design, development, training, implementation, communication, maintenance and evaluation of existing or future software, alongside providing direct patient care to patients to maintain clinical knowledge and understanding of workflows and processes.
Bachelors Degree in Nursing Required
Masters Degree in Nursing Preferred
Minimum Work Experience
3-5 years pediatric practice nursing experience
1 year informatics or clinical analyst experience preferred
Required Licenses/Certifications for position
TN or Compact RN Licensure Required

Heavy lifting, pushing and pulling is required up to 50 lbs occasionally, 20-30 lbs frequently and 10 lbs constantly to move objects of up to 150 lbs.
