This Music Therapist will be responsible for:
Providing comprehensive music therapy services to pediatric patients and families from a variety of demographic and multicultural backgrounds.
Referral triage, assessment, treatment with age/developmentally appropriate music-based interventions, accurate and prompt documentation, collaboration on interdisciplinary team, in-service education, and supervision of students/interns.
To qualify, you must have:
Bachelor's degree in Music Therapy.
Board Certified Music Therapist (MT-BC).
1 year work experience in a medical setting and/or working with children.
The ability to adhere to AMTA standards of practice, code of ethics and professional competencies.
Demonstrated proficiency in musical skills, and knowledgeable on child development and the impact of healthcare on neurodevelopmental outcomes.
