Position provides diversified secretarial and administrative support for the Pediatric Radiology Section of the Department of Radiology.� Provides assistance as necessary to ensure the day-to-day operations of the section run smoothly.
PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Supports 8 faculty members with secretarial needs in conjunction with another administrative assistant.
Maintains faculty clinical schedule.
Maintains calendar of meetings, lectures and seminars.
Arranges and coordinates meetings.
Coordinates travel arrangements, including lodging, visas, passports, and expense reports.
Prepares/collects financial material for budgets and processes A/P documents such as purchase orders, invoices, check requests and travel reimbursements.
Answers phone, screens and routes calls providing information in accordance with department policy.
Routes incoming mail, distributes correspondence and other materials.
Helps physicians maintain the credentialing paperwork and licensure.
Provides staff support during vacation/illnesses.
Equivalent of High School diploma
3 years of related secretarial experience
2 years college or business school preferred.
Working knowledge of varied word processing and PC based systems and other standard office equipment.
Familiarity with FIS system preferred.
Ability to use discretion and good judgement.
Ability to maintain confidential information.�
Previous Accounts Payable background.
Skilled with MS Office:� Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
This position is full-time and works approximately 40 hours per week.
