GOALS AND OBJECTIVES:
It is imperative to the stakeholders of Inova and of Inova Mount Vernon Hospital that the new President sccomplishes the following goals and objectives within the first 12-18 months:
Establish oneself as a credible, articulate, and knowledgeable Inova leader to key constituents, including senior leaders in the Inova System.
Demonstrate a collaborative working approach with the medical staff including physician relations, medical staff development, and pursuit of mutually beneficial business opportunities that address community needs. Work with the medical staff to establish areas of clinical growth, prepare a medical staff development plan, and actively participate in the recruitment and retention of physicians to continue to cultivate an effective, high quality, high performing medical staff.
Be highly visible throughout the hospital and in the community served by the hospital. The leader should actively engage constituents in and outside the hospital and become part of the fabric of the community.
Embrace and continue to implement the Inova Cultural Beliefs transition strategy and focus on engagement, customer service, quality improvement and financial performance. Ensure that staff and physician engagement, and patient and physician satisfaction are continuously improving.
Strengthen Inova Mount Vernon's competitive positions in Orthopedics, Rehabilitation, Behavioral Health and Emergency Services.
Establish oneself as a key member of the Inova management team, while being a genuine advocate for the Inova Mount Vernon Hospital. B ecome knowledgeable about all aspects of Inova and define the value that Inova Mount Vernon provides to the system as a whole, and demonstrate to the Mount Vernon community the value Inova brings to the hospital embodying the Inova Cultural Belief that we are "Stronger Together".
Refine and enhance the vision for the future growth and development of Inova Mount Vernon Hospital in alignment with the needs of the communities and the objectives of Inova.
