We are looking for an enthusiastic Patient Assistant sign up patients and families for MyChildren's, the hospital's patient portal. MyChildren's is a free online tool that allows users to see medical information, communicate with the hospital, schedule visits, and more.
The Patient Assistant will be responsible for approaching patients to promote, educate, and set up the MyChildren's Patient Portal. Candidates should be technologically savvy and excellent communicators. Fluency in additional languages is a plus.
This Patient Assistant, Patient Portal Enrollment will be responsible for:
Proactively promoting and educating families about the MyChildren's portal.
Working with clinic staff to identify and approach families and patients.
Assisting families with the setup of the MyChildren's portal, working with technical support as needed.
Reaching daily targets for families enrolled on the MyChildren's portal.
To qualify, you must have:
An Associate's degree preferred with 6 months of relevant experience.
Demonstrated customer service experience and ability.
The ability to communicate effectively orally and provide empathy in difficult interpersonal situations.
Proficiency with and the ability to help others with technology.
THIS ROLE IS A TEMPORARY POSITION FOR A 3 TO 6 MONTH PERIOD.
