We are looking forRNs to work in one of our Neonatal Intensive Care Units (NICU).
Our Neonatal Intensive Care (NICU) RNs provide around-the-clockquality care for newborns and infants suffering from life-threateningconditions. The environment is fast-paced and requires NICU RNs to performemergency procedures in addition to making routine observations and monitoringeach patient's symptoms and progress. On a regular basis, our NICU RNschart the patient's progress, check vital signs and report concerns tophysicians in the intensive care unit. Our NICU RNs also communicate withfamily members to provide information about treatments, medical options andprecautions. Ideal NICU RN candidates must be able to respond toemergencies quickly and provide quality compassionate care to patients andtheir families at all times. Candidates with Level III or higher NICUexperience are strongly encouraged to apply.
The ideal candidate for the Registered Nurse (RN) position will becompassionate, caring and experienced in developing/implementing the plan ofcare for each patient, making recommendations for patient interventions, andcollaborating with other health care providers to deliver care and documentoutcomes. The successful candidate must promote safe passage for their patientsby using knowledge of patient needs and the healthcare environment to assistpatients to transition through the healthcare encounter without any preventablecomplications or delays.
