Provides family assessments, family therapy, crisis intervention, and telephone triage for psychiatric inpatients, PHP, ER, and discharged patients. Leads group therapy, and participates in multi-disciplinary treatment, diagnostic conferences, and diagnostic interviews. Provides case management services for all patients.
This position serves children ages 5-17 primarily in the PHP program setting.
Education & Experience
Master's level in Social Work or related field
Experience in family therapy
Hospital experience preferred
Pediatric experience preferred
Child growth and development education required
Licensure, Registration, and/or Certification
Licensed by State of Texas: LMSW, LCSW or LPC
CPR Heartsaver; CPI Non-Violent Crisis Intervention - Units 1-7 & 9-10. 3. Qualified as a QMHP (Qualified Mental Health Professional) by the Texas Department of Health.
