The Nurse Manager coordinates clinical and administrative activities on the unit to ensure the provision of high quality care. The Nurse Manager works in collaboration with the multi-disciplinary team and has 24/7 accountability for planning and operations of the assigned unit. Demonstrates clinical proficiency in current practice and knowledge of regulatory requirements and standards of nursing practice. Implements sound business and human resources management plans.
* 4 year / Bachelors Degree: Bachelors of Science in Nursing or Non-Nursing Bachelors degree with a MSN or Doctoral degree in Nursing (Required)
*Graduate of an accredited school of Nursing (Required)
Masters Degree: Nursing (Preferred)
Certification and Licensure Requirements
*ACLS CERTIFICATION (Required)
*BLS CERTIFICATION (Required)
*Certification in area of specialty or management as soon as eligible (Required)
*PA Registered Nurse License (Required)
Membership in a professional organization (Preferred)
Experience and Skills
*1-3 Years Hands on Nursing Experience (Required)
*1-3 Years Leadership Experience (Required)
