University of Washington School of Medicine Department of Anesthesiology & Pain Medicine at Seattle Children's Hospital has an academic anesthesiologist position available for the Pain Medicine program at the rank of Acting Assistant Professor, Assistant Professor, Associate Professor or Professor, commensurate with experience. The anticipated start date is December 2018 or soon thereafter. This position is without tenure and is either part-time or full-time with a 12-month service period. Seattle Children's provides care to children from the WWAMI (Washington, Wyoming, Alaska, Montana, and Idaho) region and supports all pediatric surgical and medical specialties. Responsibilities include interdisciplinary clinic for patients with chronic and recurrent pain, inpatient consultation as part of a rotating team, and the teaching of residents, fellows and medical students and supervision of clinical care team.
