Kings County Office of Education is seeking an Occupational Therapist to serve as a member of a the multidisciplinary team to provide assessment, consultation and direct treatment services for pupils with disabling conditions; develop assessment reports, goals and objectives for consideration in the IEP team meeting, and individual occupational therapy intervention plans; provide training to education personnel and parents; and do other related work as required.

Occupational Therapist I = BA/BS degree; Occupational Therapist II = Master’s Degree. Graduation from an occupational therapy program accredited by the American Medical Association; one year of recent, full-time equivalent, supervised experience in occupational therapy with children with severe and physical disabilities, including pediatrics and sensory motor evaluation and training.
License, Certificate and Testing Requirements:
Must possess a valid license issued by the California Board of Occupational Therapy (CBOT).
Possess a valid California driver license and maintain insurability.
Must be able to provide your own reliable transportation to work sites within Kings County.
Additional Salary Information: Salary dependent on education and experience.
8 hours per day, 187 days per year plus 12 paid holidays
