The Seattle Cancer Care Alliance (SCCA), located in Seattle, Washington, is part of a dynamic collaboration among three organizations known nationally and internationally for their patient care and research: Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center, University of Washington, and Seattle Children's. Over the past 25 years, these institutions have worked together to support their mission of adult and pediatric oncology patient care services, research and education.
The IT Service Desk (ITSD) Technician I performs technical support for incoming calls and email requests for IT related support as well as performing application and hardware installations, support of workstation hardware and software, resolving desktop/laptop and peripheral computing-related problems. The technician will also assist in the set up and operation of audio-visual equipment as required.
Answer incoming calls/emails for IT related support in a timely manner
Manage tickets in queue in accordance to established Service Levels
Perform on-site Deskside support as necessary
Provide exceptional customer service at all times
Resolve the technical issue(s) presented in support tickets and provide clear, concise documentation on the resolution for each request
Provide updates to customers at regular intervals on ticket status
High School diploma or equivalent
Knowledge of Windows 7/10 Operating System including: Install, troubleshooting and configuration
Knowledge of Microsoft Office 365 programs including Microsoft Outlook
Knowledge of supporting Citrix and Virtual environments
Knowledge of network shares and permissions
Knowledge of network topology and client configuration for connectivity via VPN, Terminal Services, RDP, DHCP or Static network connection
Have excellent written and oral communication skills
Regular and punctual attendance
1 year of relevant experience
College level Information Technology course completion
