Christiana Care Health System is searching for a BE/BC psychiatrist with special interests in women's behavioral health issues through the life cycle. This psychiatrist will work collaboratively with a variety of advanced practice clinicians to provide high quality team based care in the evaluation and management of psychiatric disorders related to women's health. The provider in this position will be directly involved in the development of a model which serves acute as well as ambulatory behavioral health patients across the health care system.
BE/BC in General Psychiatry required
Eligible for license in Delaware and Pennsylvania
Fellowship training in Women's Mental Health or Consultation-Liaison is helpful but not required
Supervise and support clinical staff, residents/medical students and ancillary staff in the understanding and management of women with behavioral health needs.
Work collaboratively with hospitalists and primary care providers.
Participate in organization and department quality improvement teams and interface with service lines throughout the organization to provide behavioral health interventions.
