The Herman Ostrow School of Dentistry of USC seeks applicants for a part-time, teaching track position at the rank of adjunct assistant professor of clinical in the Division of Dental Public Health and Pediatric Dentistry.
Responsibilities include providing clinical care to underserved infants, toddlers, children and adolescents at an off-site dental clinic and teaching at the predoctoral and postdoctoral levels as part of a large community project focusing on improving the oral health of babies to adolescent youths.
Candidates must have a DDS or DMD degree, a California dental license, and a certificate of specialization in pediatric training and PALS certification. Past experience in caring for underserved pediatric patients in outpatient settings and with special needs is required. Candidates with additional training and experience in community oral health are strongly encouraged to apply.
