Nemours is seeking a Materials Management Tech (Part-Time, 25 hours per week) to join our Nemours Children's Specialty Care team in Jacksonville, Florida. The Hours/Schedule will vary and will be on an as needed basis.

This position is responsible for providing support to the Jacksonville Clinic location for all daily non-par deliveries.Position entails shipping, receiving, delivery, and mail sorting for Jacksonville Clinic location.
Perform in accordance with established departmental policies and procedures, objectives, quality assurance programs, and safety standards.
Receives incoming materials, supplies, and equipment and compares information on packing slip with purchase order to verify accuracy of shipments.
Visually inspects shipment for any signs of damage or defect; records discrepancies or damages in shipment and notifies supervisor or buyer.
Must deliver all received supplies to the requisitioner in accordance with instructions outlined on the purchase order.
Enter all applicable receipts into the Lawson system.
Coordinates items for shipment by commercial conveyance by preparing bills of lading and/ or other documents as required.
Review and ordering of copier paper for all copier machines within the location.
Handle minimal correspondence with clinical associates while in support role to ensure limited delays in needs of the organization being addressed.
High School Diploma required.
Minimum of three (3) to six (6) months experience required.
Must have satisfactory computer skills (e.g. Excel, Word, and Outlook).
Ability to lift 50 pounds or more.
Self motivated to require minimal supervision.â‹
Ability to manage multiple priorities.
