Under minimal supervision from lead statistician and/or faculty, act as a primary consultant to researchers from the Child Health Research Institute, and others upon request.
Develop statistical analysis plan and carryout the analysis. Provide advice on research design and analysis.
Ensure integrity of data collection, data review, data compilation (including database development and data reconstruction) and analysis techniques by monitoring protocols and procedures to comply with proper statistical techniques.
Prepare reports of research and of statistical analysis utilizing appropriate statistical methodologies and graphical displays. Participate in report and manuscript writing and coauthor publications in peer-reviewed journals. Participate in IRB protocol development.
It is expected that this position reside in the office on the Children's Hospital & Medical Center campus 70-80% of the time and the remainder of the time will be spent at the UNMC office. Will work with pediatric investigators from both campuses.
