As a member of the Rehabilitative team the Occupational Therapist will join a strong transdisciplinary team serving a diverse patient population consisting primarily of children with complex medical needs, including cerebral palsy, spina bifida, neuromuscular disorders, autism spectrum disorder, neurogenic, orthopedic, sensory impairment conditions. Evaluates for and fabricates upper extremity splints; provides patient/family instruction in care and use.
Applicants must be licensed or eligible for licensure in AZ. Must have graduated from an accredited Bachelors or Master’s degree program in Occupational Therapy. Minimum two years’ experience with pediatric population preferred. Current BLS/CPR certification required. Experience and training in Sensory Integration preferred. Spanish Language is helpful.
