The Clinical Administrator will be an integral member of the leadership team of the Department of Pediatrics at Kentucky Children’s Hospital. The responsibilities of the position are very leadership-focused with strategic, financial, and human resources planning as well as program planning and development as the top priorities. Reporting to the Department Administrator, this leader will also work closely with many others in the Department of Pediatrics, including the Department Chair, Department faculty and staff, the Division Chiefs, Ambulatory Leadership, and Kentucky Children’s Hospital Leadership to develop, implement, and support department initiatives and activities. The successful candidate will have a strong healthcare leadership background that includes analysis, planning, and implementation of new initiatives, financial analysis capabilities, excellent communication and presentation skills, and a passion for supporting our children and their families. The Clinical Administrator will assist with overall administration of the Department as it anticipates continued growth of health care services for children in the Commonwealth.
Minimum requirements for the position are a Bachelor’s degree and 5 years of related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
