This Staff Nurse will be responsible for:
Supporting patient care in our Outpatient Cardiology Clinic in Boston and satellite locations .
Partnering with Attending Cardiologists and Advanced Practice Staff in the provision of evidence-based care to pediatric and adult patients with congenital heart disease, acquired heart disease and arrhythmias.
Pre-clinic preparation, attendance at clinic session where the nurse will complete nursing assessment, patient and family education, provision of anticipatory guidance and assisting with care coordination and follow-up needs.
Triaging phone calls from parents and outside providers, and pre-anesthesia screening process for patients undergoing anesthesia echocardiograms.
To qualify, you must have:
BSN degree and MA RN License.
2-5 years pediatric nursing experience required.
2-3 years pediatric or adult congenital heart experience preferred.
Ability to travel to satellite locations.
Flexibility of availability Monday - Friday days, and evenings (until 8:30pm).
