The University of Washington Department of Radiology, through its affiliate Seattle Children’s Hospital, has openings for our pediatric radiology fellowship for the academic year 2020-2021. Seattle Children’s Hospital serves as the pediatric and adolescent academic medical center for Washington, Alaska, Montana and Idaho – the largest region of any children’s hospital in the country.
This 1-year, ACGME-accredited fellowship aims to provide a robust clinical imaging training environment and develop future pediatric radiologists in the areas of teaching, research, and quality improvement. With support from our 25 dedicated faculty members, fellows are involved in a wide variety of interesting and informative multidisciplinary conferences.
Our fellows train in all aspects of imaging, in both the inpatient and outpatient setting, with over 170,000 cases annually. Additionally, teaching opportunities are plentiful, with 7 to 10 resident trainees on rotation each month. We aim to support research and educational interests by providing each fellow with dedicated research time, separate from clinical hours.
