Essential Functions: Provide support for all aspects of pediatric research conducted by the research center.Duties may include but are not limited to: sample collection, IV and phlebotomy, medication administration, EKG's, monitor vital signs, holding and or lifting children to facilitate study procedureAssist with the preparation and submission of regulatory documents for clinical research studies to the IRB and the study sponsor, protocol review for the purpose of developing informed consent and protocol summary documents, submission of protocol amendments, reviewing adverse eventsReview and presentation of study protocols to the team, participant recruitment, and implementation of study procedures as outlined in the protocolSample collection, source document creation and documentation of data, networking with different areas in the hospital to coordinate a participant visit.
