The Director of Nursing/Patient Services Oncology/Hematology/Hematopoietic Stem Cell Transplant/Research will be responsible for:
* 24/7 responsibilities planning, organizing and overseeing daily clinical and administrative operations of clinical services. * Requesting and allocating resources and facilitating coordination of care/services to meet patient care and operations requirements. * Developing, recommending and implementing internal standards, policies and procedures to improve quality and cost-effectiveness of patient care. * Selecting, supervising and evaluating nursing and clinical support staff. * Developing and providing staff education/development programs. * Leading and participating in hospital, departmental and multidisciplinary programs, committees and special projects.
To qualify, you must have:
* Master's degree required, either Bachelor's or Master's degree must be in Nursing. * The analytic skills to resolve highly complex problems requiring the application of clinical principles, theories and concepts, and in-depth, cross-functional experience-based knowledge. * Proficient computer skills, research skills and well-developed writing skills. * 5+ years of progressive management experience in a hospital setting. * Pediatric Oncology experience required. * Licensed in MA as a registered nurse. * Professional certification in executive nursing (NE-BC).
