Cook Children's Practice Manager II facilitates teamwork and department pride by advocating for an environment that promotes high patient care standards and implements processes to ensure customer satisfaction. As the Practice Manager II, you have the authority, accountability, and responsibility for the management of clerical and clinical staff. Your areas of responsibility will include:

You will demonstrate sound judgment and appropriate decision making abilities. As a Cook Children's Practice Manager II, you will be expected to thoroughly understand, and monitor, financial performance of the unit/department.
Five years experience as a medical office manager in a multi-provider office
Two years of college or equivalent experience
Must possess a basic understanding of general accounting principles
A solid understanding of coding and third party requirements is required
Maturity to withstand pressure that may arise in relation to the public, physician or administration
Licensure or Certifications:
Maintain BLS as defined in area of practice
