Cook Children's Medical Center and Healthcare System, based in Fort Worth, TX, has an excellent opportunity for a full-time Pediatric Oncologist to join our growing Hematology and Oncology Center. Currently, 16 physicians and 12 nurse practitioners, as well as dedicated multi-disciplinary staff, see over 220 new cancer cases annually and perform 40-50 stem-cell transplants per year. We have a very active outpatient clinic and Hematology Program as well, and together our programs serve an expansive referral area including the Fort Worth Metro area, North Texas as well as Central and West Texas and the surrounding states. Our center is a member of Children's Oncology Group (COG) and has many active collaborations with multiple academic institutions, Phase I consortiums, pharmaceutical companies and is very active in clinical research in all areas of Hematology, Oncology and Stem Cell Transplant. We are seeking an energetic BC/BE Pediatric Hematologist/Oncologist with an interest in Leukemia and Lymphoma as well as Targeted Therapeutics. Successful candidates will have completed an accredited pediatric specialty training program and be board certified/board eligible in Pediatric Hematology/Oncology. Must be qualified to obtain an unrestricted Texas Medical License before commencing employment.
