About the Opportunity: The School of Nursing invites applications from highly-motivated candidates for a full-time, benefits eligible, non-tenure track faculty position as an Assistant/Associate Clinical Professor commensurate with the candidate's qualifications. This position is a 52-week faculty appointment with an immediate start date.
Responsibilities: Primary responsibilities include participation in the development, instruction, and evaluation of the primary care pediatric nurse practitioner (PNP) courses; academic advising; and recruitment of primary care clinical placements with the assistance of the Clinical Operations Manager. The incumbent will fully participate in the School of Nursing and the Bouve College of Health Sciences faculty meetings and serve on faculty committees. Teaching responsibilities may include teaching pediatric content in other courses outside of the PNP program dependent on workload and cohort numbers.
Qualifications: Qualifications require a degree in nursing and earned doctorate in nursing or related field with national certification as a Primary Care Pediatric Nurse Practitioner. The candidate should possess effective interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills; evidence of effective entrepreneurial skills; extensive experience working with the healthcare business community and strong imaginative leadership.
