JOB TITLE: Data Coordinator Supply Chain LOCATION: Justin Drive II DEPARTMENT: Supply Chain Services WORK SCHEDULE: Days WORK TYPE: Full Time
JOB SUMMARY: The Supply Chain Data Coordinator position is responsible for coordinating tasks related to the integration of clinical projects involving supply analysis reviews, Clinical Use Evaluation (CUE) requests, and product evaluations. Assists Director, Supply Chain Services, Clinical Integration, in realizing System targets for expense reduction and works with clinicians to assist with ad hoc projects to demonstrate cost reduction and improved patient outcomes. Manages the CUE and Recall Management Database. Provides support to the Director, Supply Chain Services, Clinical Integration, in the development and implementation of Clinical Use Evaluation (CUE) and clinical integration initiatives. Works with members of the CUE committees to ensure follow up on metrics is completed with tracking and reporting and monitors financial look-backs to demonstrate projected vs. actual.
Reports to the Director, Supply Chain Services, Clinical Integration.

Demonstrates ability to work independently or as part of a team.
Strong knowledge base with computer skills including spreadsheets, database programs, and word processing.
Demonstrates ability to simultaneously handle multiple projects and deadlines.
Able to independently set up and maintain records and complex files in paper and electronic formats.
Excellent communication skills, grammar, punctuation, spelling required.
EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE: Bachelor’s degree required
OR
Associate’s degree with 4 years experience in business or healthcare, or 8 years experience in business or healthcare.
Minimum two years prior experience working with Microsoft Word, Excel or other related software.
Knowledge of Lawson preferred.
WORKING CONDITIONS/PHYSICAL DEMANDS: Work is performed in an office environment. Position may require light to moderate travel to locations within the GHS.

GEISINGER MEDICAL CENTER: (GMC), located Danville, Pa., the largest tertiary/quaternary care teaching hospital in the region, is licensed for 475 beds, including 89 pediatric beds in the Janet Weis Children’s Hospital.
