Tampa General Hospital (TGH) is a private not-for-profit hospital and one of the most comprehensive medical facilities in West Central Florida serving a dozen counties with a population in excess of 4 million. As one of the largest hospitals in Florida, TGH is licensed for 1,010 beds, and with more than 8,000 employees, is one of the region’s largest employers. TGH is the area’s only level I trauma center and one of just four burn centers in Florida. Under administrative supervision of the Senior Vice President of Patient Services, responsible for assessment, implementation and evaluation of administrative operations to deliver efficient and effective delivery of patient care services to nursing and/or ancillary department. Responsible for operations of department. Works in collaboration with Management team to ensure delivery of patient care services is efficient, with high quality outcomes. Acts as a department representative for internal and external customers. Responsible for hiring, directing and evaluating designated management staff members. Responsible for performing job duties in accordance with mission, vision, and values of Tampa General Hospital.
