Christiana Care is seeking a casual/moonlighting BC/BENuclear Medicine Physician to work on an as needed basis for approximately 4 months per year in the Section of Nuclear Medicine, Department of Radiology.
Our dedicated nuclear medicine physicians provide comprehensive nuclear medicine services including PET/CT for oncologic, neurologic, and cardiovascular applications (including Ga-68 Dotatate, F-18 fluciclovine, and myocardial perfusion with Rb-82), a wide variety of general nuclear medicine imaging studies, all aspects of nuclear cardiology, in vivo procedures such as blood volume and GFR studies, and DXA scans. The Section of Nuclear Medicine includes state-of-the-art PET/CT and SPECT/CT cameras, multiple SPECT gamma scanners and solid-state cameras.
The nuclear medicine faculty routinely performs multiple therapies including I-131 NaI, Lu-177 Dotatate, Ra-223 dichloride, and Y-90 ibritumomab tiuxetan. They work closely with interventional radiologists to treat patients with both glass and resin Y-90 microspheres. Our nuclear medicine physicians also participate in various tumor boards and provide oncologic consultations as part of multidisciplinary teams at Christiana Care's Helen F. Graham Cancer Center and Research Institute.
BC/BE in nuclear medicine and interested in clinical nuclear medicine.
Require to work onsite in Newark, DE at Christiana Hospital (no teleradiology offered).
Interest in teaching cardiology fellows, radiology residents, radiation oncology residents, medical students and nuclear medicine technology students is a plus.
Successful candidates will have clinical experience in interpreting PET/CT scans and attenuation CT scans.
