Psychologist-Adolescent/Young Adult Oncology

SUMMARY: The Licensed Psychologist -AYA Oncology will work collaboratively with the H/O Adolescent/Young Adult Oncology treatment team by: 1. developing a comprehensive and sustainable psychosocial program that engages AYA oncology patients, team members and other AYA Oncology programs. 2. providing direct clinical care, team consultation and care coordination in both the inpatient and outpatient setting, and 3. conducting relevant quality improvement measures, outcome metrics and/or clinical research within the H/O department that improves the psychosocial and behavioral health needs of patients, and tracks the efficacy of the program. Experience and proven success with program development/implementation is preferred. QUALIFICATIONS: PhD/PsyD in Psychology required; Must have experience with Adolescents and Young Adults in an Oncology Setting; Experience in program development/implementation preferred; Experience in clinical research or process improvement preferred. Licensure, Registration, and/or Certification Licensed Psychologist in State of Texas or eligibility for licensure in the State of Texas as a Licensed Psychologist
