This Staff Nurse will be responsible for:
Triaging sleep study requests, allocating resources and plan of care for successful, safe study
Clinical assessment and decision making of patients admitted into the sleep lab for study
Collaboration and provision of care strategies for sleep technologists
Patient and family education regarding disease management
Assessing, planning, implementing, evaluating and modifying plans of care in collaboration with APN and MD providers
Providing ongoing care coordination between clinic visits by communicating with families, healthcare team members and other agencies involved.

To qualify, you must have:
2 years of Pediatric RN experience in either inpatient neuroscience or in an ambulatory setting.
Ability to set priorities when organizing care for patients with varying acuity.
Strong telephone interview skills.
Collaborative teamwork abilities.
Knowledge of pediatrics and family centered care.
Ability to function autonomously using the nursing process.
Strong problem-solving skills, excellent oral and written communication skills.
Attention to detail, and a high degree of professionalism.
Ability to think creatively and work collaboratively to address problems.
Ability to work evening shifts from 12:00 pm (noon) to 10:30 pm, with flexibility in weekday scheduling and every Saturday.
