Reporting to the Director of Patient Care Services, the Neuro Clinical Resource Specialist is responsible for coordinating and implementing staff development activities including orientation, in-service and continuing education. Provides supervision, instruction, assessment and evaluation of orientee�s and students. Coordinates the Continuous Quality Improvement program. Assists with the development and maintenance of Surgical Services competencies. Develops policies and procedures and maintains hospital and department policy and procedure manuals. Monitors and collects credentials of all Neuro Surgical Services staff.




Qualifications:

  • CA RN License

  • ACLS (within 9 months)

  • PALS (within 1 year)

  • TCAR (within 1 year)

  • 2+ years neuro spine experience

  • Level 2 trauma
