The Division of Pediatric Allergy, Immunology, and Rheumatology at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and the North Carolina Children's Hospital is seeking an individual to join a busy and productive academic practice. This is a full-time, fixed-term faculty position at the Assistant Professor level.
The Division of Pediatric Allergy, Immunology, and Rheumatology offers an exceptionally collaborative environment for the care of children with the full spectrum of pediatric rheumatologic and autoimmune disorders. Clinical care is provided at the NC Children's Hospital and the NC Children's Specialty Clinic in Raleigh. The division intends to establish and increase a Rheumatology presence at the UNC Specialty Care clinic at Sanford as well. In addition, strong basic and translational research programs provide opportunities to participate and lead clinical trials for innovative therapies through collaborative work within the institution and as part of national research networks.
Education and Experience:
The position requires MD or MD/PhD training and being Board Certified/Board Eligible in Pediatric Rheumatology, with a valid NC medical license.
