Program Manager, Children's Surgery Initiatives (NYS RN License Required)

Under the guidance of the Department of Surgery's Quality Manager and the Department of Pediatrics, the Program Manager for Childrens Surgery Initiatives serves as the point-of-contact on projects/initiatives primarily related to Specialty Children's Surgery Verification through the American College of Surgeons. Responsibilities include leading projects from front-line or directs staff as applicable; Propose and develop methodologies to fulfill programmatic needs and reviews with Quality Manager and Service Chief as needed; Gather/analyze data (operational and financial) and presents results to MSK clinicians and/or hospital administration. Serve as primary point of contact for projects related to MSKs Childrens Surgery Initiatives.
Initiate, plan, develop and conduct various projects/assignments to fulfill programmatic needs; Maintain project work-flows and timelines.
Identifies and performs appropriate analyses of clinical, operational and/or financial data to support assigned projects.
Prepares analytical reports that may express current and past patterns/trends.
Understands external regulations as well as MSK policies and procedures and is able to interpret their implications to the project(s).
Serves as a member of departmental and institutional committees, as appropriate.
New York State RN License
Bachelors degree in Nursing, Masters degree in Business Administration or Public Administration/Health preferred
PMP Certification highly preferred
Minimum of 4 years of clinical nursing experience in Pediatrics an acute care setting required
Excellent organizational, analytical, interpersonal and presentation skills required
Advanced MS Office skills including MS PowerPoint required
Hours/Shifts: Monday - Friday with flexible hours during implementations. #LI-MA1
