The Nurse Practitioner will be responsible for:
Working primarily with the pediatric anesthesiologists attending physicians and fellows, CRNAs, as well as with pediatric anesthesia residents
Clinical reasoning, which includes clinical decision-making, critical thinking.
Evaluating practice and creating changes through research utilization and experiential learning.
Respecting the patient and family leading to compassionate and empathetic care.
Facilitating colleague, patient and family learning.
Working with to promote and encourage optimal and realistic patient goals.
Systems Thinking: Body of knowledge that allows the physician assistant to manage and improve system resources.
To qualify, you must have:
A Master's from a Nurse Practitioner program.
1+ years of related NP experience (acute setting preferred) .
The ability to work in collaboration with physicians, nurses, mid level providers and administrative staff.
The analytical skills to resolve highly complex problems requiring the application of clinical, scientific or technical principles, theories and concepts and in-depth, cross-functional experience-based knowledge.
Excellent communication skills.
A current license from the Commonwealth of Massachusetts to practice as a Nurse Practitioner
