Cook Children's Physician Network (CCPN) is the largest pediatric multi-specialty physician group in North Texas. We are looking for an Operations Analyst, who will be responsible for providing the CCPN management team with data and trend analyses to assist in decision making for optimal practice operations and resource allocation. You will leverage data from our EMR and other sources to translate into a meaningful, and informative ,report format and presentation to tell a story that supports operational efforts.
As our Operational Analyst, you will be required to have a working knowledge of:
financial performance/statements and software
In addition, you will be required to have critical thinking skills and a collaborative attitude necessary to bridge the gap between clinical and business analysis. The Operations Analyst is expected to consistently validate data for timeliness, reliability and usefulness. You will work with CCPN leadership to ascertain the most appropriate method of sharing data with a variety of stakeholders.
Education & Experience
Bachelor's Degree in Healthcare Information systems, Finance, Business or related field of study preferred
Five years reporting/analytics experience required in Healthcare (i.e. medical practice, hospital, health plan, or billing office) with progressive responsibilities
Epic experience preferred, especially dashboard and reporting experience
Good Excel skills with experience in pivot tables, formulas, and other data-filtering tools preferred
Strong presentation skills with proficiency in software applications related to Cook Children's
Excellent interpersonal skills
Ability to independently, resourcefully, and creatively research and implement new solutions
Ability to multi-task and prioritize
