The Department of Pediatrics is located with Doernbecher Children's Hospital at Oregon Health & Science University.
Postdoctoral positionwillfocus on the discovery and validation of new therapeutic targets in hematologic malignancies and the molecular characterization of somatic changes and aberrant signaling pathways underlying disease pathogenesis. Candidates are expected to have substantial experience in molecular biology, biochemical techniques, and in vivo studies. In addition to wet lab capabilities the optimal candidate will also have experience in working with large annotated datasets. A basic understanding of genomic analyses methods and/or use of computational methods for identifying common mutations and activated pathways would be highly valuable.

Ability to use tact and diplomacy to maintain effective working relationships
PhD degree in science or technology
4 or more years of related laboratory experience
