The Department of Radiology & Imaging Sciences with Indiana University Health Physicians is seeking a fellowship trained Pediatric Radiologist to join its pediatric radiology division. This position will be based at Riley Hospital for Children in Indianapolis, Indiana. This position will work clinical shifts during the daytime and share responsibility for rotating weekend and evening shifts and take overnight pager call in equal share with other members of the division. Indiana University Health Physicians medical group is a multidisciplinary practice affiliated the Indiana University School of Medicine. The Department of Radiology and Imaging Sciences includes 120 clinical faculty, 44 residents, 10 physicists, and 19 research faculty. Riley Hospital for Children is a free-standing tertiary referral center and level one trauma center serving the entire state of Indiana. We perform approximately 100,000 examinations annually. Riley Hospital for Children is located in downtown Indianapolis in the Central Indiana region which has an affordable cost of living and excellent public and private school systems. Indianapolis is home to several colleges and universities, with many cultural amenities including professional football and basketball, motorsports, multiple symphonies, and the arts and an award-winning airport with direct flights available to many destinations across the entire United States.
Clinical expertise (inclusive of fluoroscopic procedures, but not IR procedures) in the care pediatric patients is required. Candidates must be certified in Diagnostic Radiology by the American Board of Radiology or its equivalent, have completed a fellowship in Pediatric Radiology, and must have passed or be eligible for the CAQ examination in Pediatric Radiology.
